Candidate Statement
Annemarie Randle-Trejo Governing Board Member Anaheim Union High School District Age 50

It is my honor to be a Governing Board Member of the AUHSD. The School Board demonstrated their confidence in my proven leadership abilities with my appointment to the Board in a time of unexpected change. I am a 30 year resident of this district. I have worked for the Anaheim City School District for 15 years as a Behavior Interventionist and Special Education Aide. For over 12 years, through my involvement with PTA, Superintendent Advisory, Girl Scouts, Kennedy Performing Arts Foundation, Harp Guild, Anaheim Art Alliance and Measure Z, I have advocated for students, parents, teachers and employees of AUHSD. My commitment as an AUHSD parent further validates my connection to the district. The relationships I have built are vital to the duties of a Trustee. The teachers and employees support me. I will remain vigilant with fiscal oversight, continue to build community and professional relationships and hold all accountable for student success. Our students deserve a safe place to learn and a well-balanced 21st Century education. Your vote on November 6 will allow me to continue to serve as Trustee for AHUSD to work diligently in the best interests of all of our students. annemarieforauhsd.com
