Here are some of my reasons for seeking Re-election

I am running for reelection to the Laguna Beach School Board. The election is November 6, and I need your support.

During the past four years, public education has confronted nearly unprecedented financial challenges. During my term in office, our fiscally conservative Board built and maintained nearly significant cash reserves. With this solid financial base and committed leadership, here's what we've accomplished:

- Laguna is one of only a handful of school districts statewide to maintain 20 to 1 elementary class size reductions;
- Maintained higher number of school days than any district in Orange County;
- All four of our schools are recognized as California Distinguished Schools and our high school is among the elite National Blue Ribbon Schools;
- With our solid financial ratings, Laguna Beach taxpayers save over $5,000,000.00 in bond interest expense;
- Expanded high school AP and Honors classes;
- Implemented "Simply Integrated" program to bring technology into every classroom;
- Continue to support robust programs in sports and the arts;
- Upgraded food service on all campuses, including salad bars, nutritious meal options and fresh, local and healthy foods;
- Recruited and retained the best teachers, leadership and staff.

Now that the campaign season is upon us, I need your help and, yes, your money, to jump-start the effort to deliver our message to the voting public.

Great schools benefit everyone in our community. Please join me as I carry out our shared commitment that Laguna Beach Schools remain second to none.
