Integrity, Transparency, Honesty,and Leadership
Dore Gilbert Physician/Army Reservist

My wife and I have lived in Laguna Hills for over 32 years, where we raised our five children. I have been a practicing physician here for 33 years and at age of 60 I enlisted in the Army Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel and served in Afghanistan in 2011 as a Brigade Surgeon for over 10,000 soldiers.

I care deeply about Laguna Hills and want to ensure that we maintain the quality of life we all enjoy in our community. This includes making sure that we pass balanced budgets with a surplus, realistic compensation for employees, provide the highest level of public safety to our neighborhoods and maintain our parks for residents of all ages to enjoy. I believe in transparency of government and will do all I can to make the business dealings of our City Council open and transparent for our citizens to see. This leads to an open and honest governance.

In addition to my service in the Army Reserve, my experience to the community includes serving for over 29 years on the Saddleback Unified School Board, Member of Community Center/Sports Complex Planning Committee, coaching Jr. All American Football, Little League and my daughter's Bobby Sox team.

I humbly ask for your support, so together we can work to keep Laguna Hills the community that we are all proud to call home.

Please vote Dore Gilbert for City Council.

Thank you. http://www.Doregilbert2012.com
