South Orange County is a vibrant and unique local with specific interests and needs. Likewise, the Board of Trustees representative from Rancho Santa Margarita and Mission Viejo should have an understanding of our uniqueness, as well as, the ability to translate those needs into educational opportunities and outcomes.

As your representative I will bring a distinct perspective that includes being a native Californian and long time OC resident who has been highly passionate about quality and affordable education. My education includes a doctorate from the University of Southern California which allowed me to develop a global perspective of education policy, strategic planning and a vision for student outcomes.

As your Trustee I will seek to improve communication and collaboration within the college community, maintain fiscal accountability and ensure that career technology and transfer education opportunities are available to our young adults and interested community members. I also recognize that many faculty and administrators are nearing retirement and wish to be proactive in ensuring the transfer of their knowledge and experience.

Please take the opportunity to review my Platform and don't hesitate to contact me with your questions, suggestions, concerns and support.
