I learned about consensus building in my legal career where just saying no was never an option. I developed the skills needed to engage and empower communities as a graduate of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs. I have served on the Historic Landmarks Board to help protect this city's unique character while striving to adapt for the future. These are my real, practical leadership skills and experience that I will bring to City Council.
Retired attorney having practiced in San Francisco from 1978 through 1986. From 1986 through October 2000, Vice President, Legal of Oracle Corporation managing corporate, international, intellectual property and strategic licensing groups.

Member of Sausalito's Historic Landmarks Board from 2006 through 2010 and as its Chair from 2008 through 2010

Member of Board of Directors of Coro Northern California from 2000 to 2005; Board of Directors of Faithful Fools 2000 to 2002.

JD, University of California, Hastings College of the Law; BA De Paul University, Political Science/Economics

Graduate Coro's Community Fellows Leadership Program; Instructor University of California Hastings College of the Law

Organizations: Sierra Club, Lifetime Member; Marin Conservation League

Volunteer, Environmental Traveling Companions, Sausalito Sea Kayak Program; Former volunteer for various homeless organizations and the Zen Hospice Project

Personal activities include taking advantage of Sausalito's proximity to wilderness by hiking, mountain biking and kayaking.
