Education and Qualifications:

I care deeply about the quality of public education that every Moraga child receives. As an active school volunteer, I have served as an MEF President, Vice President, and Board Member. Additionally, I have served on the JM and Rheem Site Councils, the Rheem PTA Executive Board, MSD's Coordinating Council, and MSD's Safety Committee.

I currently sit on the Board of Directors for Scientific Learning Corporation--a company focused on K-12 education. Prior to this, I was a Senior Vice President at Oracle, where over a 15-year career I held numerous strategy and executive management positions. I have a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Connecticut. My husband and I have lived in Moraga since 2003; our two children attend MSD schools.

As a volunteer, I have had the opportunity to work closely with parents, teachers, staff, and administrators to strategically address the educational and budgetary concerns of our district. If elected to serve as a Governing Board member, I will build on this experience and work diligently to maintain financial stability and foster an educational environment that meets the intellectual and social-developmental needs of our children.
