This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

My name is: Seth Freeman

My age is:

My occupation is: emerging and frontier markets Investment Manager and turnaround consultant

Education and Qualifications:

I am volunteering to inject new, creative, practical ideas that could save $100's of thousands of dollars while enhancing the quality of our Moraga experience and delivery of services.

I will champion priorities of Moragans based upon facts, not my individual beliefs. A primary goal is to massively increase transparency and inclusion. Inexpensive technology can be used to make it convenient for busy residents to watch and participate in town meetings, with firm ending times. I even live-streamed a few meetings myself.

I have sufficient understanding and insights into issues, with stints as an MEF board member, budget and finance committee member at MCC; attended numerous council and committee meetings. I ran for Town Council in 2010.

Not a member of the existing Moraga political establishment, I am unencumbered by legacy thinking, wasteful spending and unfounded decision-making. I have decades of hands-on experience resolving a wide range of problems of under-performing organizations, tight budgets and numerous, diverse stakeholders with different values and priorities, similar to Moraga's current situation.

My education, including an MBA from Thunderbird; professional background and 13 years in Moraga are an excellent fit for what Moraga needs now.
