Kimberly Rudisill (formerly Kimberly King) would like to serve our community again by running for Chico City Council.

Kim has lived in Chico since 1978. She has raised 4 children in the community and has been involved with many children's programs and activities for years. She was a founding member of Chico Central Little League as well as a past President. She has also sat on the boards for the Chico Aqua Jets and Chico City Light Opera. Kim has held a position on The Park and Playground Commission and was elected to the city council first in 1994 serving until 1998.

Kim owned a small business, A Nature Walk, in Downtown Chico from 1987-1993. Her kids always enjoyed being down there with their mother and their grandmother learning about the local businesses and the community.

All 4 of her children went through the Chico Unified School District system. Her oldest son Kenny is currently serving in the Army and has completed 3 tours of Iraq. He is also the father of 2 little girls with his wife Naomi; they currently live in North Carolina. Her daughter Teresa graduated from Chico State in 2007 and is currently working locally. Her son Christopher just finished his active duty in the Army, having done tours in both Afghanistan and Haitii. He just had a baby girl and is living with his girlfriend Stacy.He is currently going to school full time, working towards his degree in Political Science. Tristan, Kim's youngest son, recently graduated from Chico High. He just completed boot camp with the United States Marine Corps in San Diego. Kim is extremely proud of her children and what they have done locally in the community as well as what they have done for our country.
