Now, more than ever, Chico needs a moderate non-partisan voice. A voice that actively supports local business, advocates for safe neighborhoods, a vibrant downtown core, and clearly promotes job creation. A voice that speaks up for Chico's environmental heritage and distinct community values, while advancing economic policies.

I am the only candidate with any City of Chico Planning Commission experience. Three of my eight years of service, were as Chair during the 2030 General Plan Update. This direct public experience has taught me to listen, hear and respect the citizens. I have the ability to carefully weigh the facts and make independent decisions for the entire community. I understand what's necessary to find common ground and forge solutions together. My background as a California public school architect provides me with the knowledge to generate options, prioritize values and be fiscally responsible with public monies.

You have a choice. If you want balanced community representation, and not narrow agendas or preconceived ideas, then choose Dave Kelley. You don't have to choose risky, unproven and untested candidates. Don't settle for special interest individuals. My vision for Chico is forward-looking, objective and focuses on measurable results. Vote for a better future, vote for Dave Kelley.

s/ Dave Kelley
