Solar-Driven Transportation

Candidate for Mayor; City of Berkeley

This information is provided by the candidate
Envisioning a solar-driven transportation system in Berkeley, including a ferry to SF from the Berkeley Marina.
Supporting the concept of a solar-driven, smart-car transit system such as the proposal from local Bay Area company CyberTran (http://www.cybertran.com). Would work with Washington DC to secure funding to bring a solar rail system to Berkeley.

A solar-powered rail system would reduce the necessity of fossil fuel dependent vehicles, and reduce traffic in the city of Berkeley.

Implementing this type of system would serve as a model to the world.
