Questions & Answers

1. In this time of high unemployment, what are the most important steps that should be taken to improve our nation’s economy?

1. Reduce taxes on job creators.
2. eliminate job killing regulations.

2. How should the federal budget deficit be addressed, now and into the future? How should budget priorities for defense and domestic programs be adjusted?

1. No more debt. The nation's debt is already too high and adding to it is irresponsible.
2. Balanced Budget. We cannot spend more than we take in.
3. The federal government must adhere to its constitutional responsibilities and leave other expenditures to the states.

3. What are your priorities with respect to our nation’s energy policy? Should there be an emphasis on clean energy and reducing carbon emissions, and/or on reducing our dependence on foreign sources?

1. We should tap into our vast domestic reserves of oil and gas.
2. We should remove barriers that might hamper efforts by the private sector to develop alternative sources of energy.
3. We should allow for development of nuclear, clean coal,and natural gas.

4. What, if any, changes should be made to federal health care policies or programs?

1. Repeal Obamacare.
2. Allow for interstate competition between insurers.
3. Phase out federal responsibility for other health programs and transfer them to the states.

5. What, if any, changes should be made to federal rules on campaign financing?

1. Freedom of Speech must be protected.
2. Federal rules must be eliminated that infringe on the people's 1st amendment rights.
