By Mike LeBarre

Candidate for United States Representative; District 20

This information is provided by the candidate
Once implemented, we will finally have a balanced budget and start paying down our debt.
The Common Sense 10 year plan we will cut 10 to 15 trillion dollars over the next 10 years from what the career politicians are expecting to spend. Reduce our budget from the current level of 3.9 trillion down to 2.4 trillion dollars. Encourage domestic and foreign investment in our economy and create millions of American jobs.

Using the simplified revenue stream, the tax rates for gross personal income and gross business receipts are as follows: yrs 1-4 @ 7%, yrs 5-7 @ 6%, yr 8 @5%, yr 9 @ 4%, yr 10 + @ 1.5% or less.

Increase import tariff rates from current average of over 1.25% to an average of 15%.

Except for Social Security and Medicare, cut all budgets by 10% per year for 5 years.

The budgets of the E.P.A., Dept. of Education, and the Dept. of Energy will be cut at a rate of 50 % per year for 5 years.

Medicaid, Unemployment, and Disability programs, except for the military, will be transferred to the states. The budget allocated for these programs will be sent as payments to the states, decreasing in amount until year 11 when payments end.

Institute the Solvent and Secure program to save Social Security.

Once implemented, we will finally have a balanced budget and start paying down our debt.
