Born in 1957. Raised in California. Graduated from High School in 1975. Attended Hawaii Loa College, Reed College, the University of Grenoble. Sailed around the world from 1976 to 1978.

She traveled, wrote, and organized art exhibitions in the 80's. In 1988 she met Jean-Luc Brouillet and moved to Palo Alto. Their children, Jules, Jeremy, and Daniel graduated from Gunn High School. Jules, a graduate in Economics from Oberlin College, staff of the American Monetary Institute for a year, is currently the campaign manager for the Carol for Congress campaign. Jeremy is in his third year at Dartmouth College. Daniel is a freshman at the Colorado School of Mines.

In 1992, she saw the film, "JFK' and began researching the CIA. She became a "media activist" to raise critical issues that were censored or ignored by the corporate press.

In '92 she edited The Invisible Nuclear War- about the health effects of low-level radiation and nuclear issues.

She co-founded the International Media Project, the Who's Counting Project, the 9-11 Truth Alliance, and the Northern California 9-11 Truth Alliance. All non-profit organizations, that seek to connect people, vital ideas, and important information to nurture healthy social change, economic justice and ecological sustainability.

She co-sponsored the first Local Currency Conference. She organized a panel and workshop on local currencies at The Other Economic Summit in Denver, Colorado in 1997. She has spoken and given workshops on Global Economics, Money, and Community Currencies in the U.S., Italy, and Brazil. Her paper "Reinventing Money, Restoring the Earth, Reweaving the Web of Life" was recognized as "one of the best ideas for the new millennium."

She organized three conferences on "Strategies to Transform the Global Economy." In January 2001, she helped mobilize North Americans to attend the first World Social Forum in Porto Alegre, Brazil. She was working against the FTAA, the WTO, the IMF, the World Bank, and corporate globalization, in September 2001. Shaken by the events of September 11th, she has worked to counter the assaults upon civil liberties and oppose the "War on Terrorism," war on Afghanistan, war on Iraq, by exposing the underlying truths behind the war propaganda.

From October 2001 through October 2007, she held a weekly Listening Project- every Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Lytton Plaza, in Downtown Palo Alto.(She now does the Listening Project on the 11th of every month, in solidarity with truthaction.org and activists in cities throughout the United States, as well as other countries.

She organized a march and rally on Senator Feinstein's office on January 8, 2002 to Demand a Congressional Inquiry of 9/11.

She publishes the Deception Dollar, including a Media bill, an Election Deception bill, a Conception Dollar, a "Perception Dollar"; there are now over seven million in print.

In April 2003, she organized Premieres in San Francisco and Palo Alto- of Aftermath- Unanswered Questions from 9-11 with Guerrilla News Network, Mike Ruppert, Peter Dale Scott, Riva Enteen, Barry Zwicker and Richard Heinberg.

She organized the comedy benefits Behind Every Terrorist There is a Bush, and the San Francisco International Inquiry into 9-11, Phase One, in February and March, 2004. The Inquiry attracted many journalists, documentary filmmakers, and helped spark the growing 9-11 Truth Movement. She also helped with, and spoke at the International Citizens' Inquiry into 9-11, Phase Two, in Toronto, May 2004.

When she learned of a bill which would reorganize and expand the "Intelligence Agencies," Carol organized a series of protests and rallies in August and September 2004, against the "Police State Legislation."

In 2005, she, organized a series of premieres of Barrie Zwicker's documentary- The Great Conspiracy- The 9-11 News Special You Never Saw, which drew activists from Canada and all over the country. The San Francisco Bay Guardian highlighted her in its cover story on the 9-11 Truth Movement last year.

In 2005, she organized an Art Contest with the theme- 9-11 Truth for Peace and Justice, and worked to bring together the 9-11 Truth Movement with the Peace and Justice Movement. She produced a film version of Behind Every Terrorist- There is a Bush, which premiered at the Grand Lake Theater on September 11th, and has been featured on Free Speech TV.

In 2006, she ran for Congress and helped organize a number of 9/11 Truth events, including a rally in Chicago at the Revealing the Truth- Reclaiming the Future Conference, 9/11 Film Festival and premieres of the documentary- 9/11 Press for Truth, and the San Francisco Tea Party for 9/11 Truth.

In 2007, she continued her 9/11 Truth work, organized a number of Impeachment rallies, began hosting a weekly radio show- Questioning War- Organizing Resistance. After organizing premieres of Loose Change- Final Cut in San Francisco and Oakland, and helping with the second San Francisco Tea Party for 9/11 Truth, health challenges (kidney stones) put her in the hospital and slowed her down.

In 2008, members of the Santa Clara Green Party urged her to run again for Congress and helped get her on the ballot. Health concerns slowed her down that year.

From 2010 to 2012, she hosted a weekly radio show on the Progressive Radio Network entitled "Community Currency." She also attended the AMI Monetary Reform Conferences, organized and participated in numerous rallies, events, conferences, film festivals on many issues particularly on monetary reform, reining in corporate power, nuclear power, the oil industries, ending torture and championing civil rights.
