  • Married to Paul Williams since 1966: four adult children and 6 GRANDchildren, ages 8-17
  • Began teaching children with special needs in 1966
  • Began writing my own curriculum because Special Education was a new field. I've continued to write curriculum to this day to meet the needs of students.
  • I taught ALL of my students to read well using the tactile/kinesthetic materials I've developed over decades. Even dyslexics can learn to read by 'using their hands.'
  • AD 75 Precinct Captain Award: "the highest honor which may be bestowed by the Republican Party of SD County"
