I can no longer stand by and watch our children's education be undermined by misguided leadership and poor decisions. Because I have the experience, knowledge and qualifications to make sound decisions regarding the education of our students, I believe it is my duty to run for school board.

I am an advocate for Parents, teachers and administrators, by I will always base my decision on what is best for students.

It is time for "Efficient Change, and Effective Competent Leadership!" It is absolutely important for parents, teachers, administrators and staff to form a strong team and "Advocate in the Best Interest of Our Children" through informed, sensible and frequent communication.

It is now "Time for New Leaders" who will foster a forum that promotes the sharing of creative and sensible ideas to meet the immense challenges in educating our children. We must review not just our mission, goals and objectives, but also our intents and commitments to provide a fulfilling experience for our students; to Meet Parents' Expectations for their children; for teachers to meet their Obligations and Commitments; and for administrators to provide the best systems possible while Meeting Clear Fiscal Constraints.

Proven Educational Leadership I have 20 years of hands-on education experience as a classroom teacher, vice principal, dean of students, and university professor teaching graduate-level courses in teacher education.

Honorable Community Service I was instrumental in revitalizing the Clairemont Town Council, serving as president and providing proactive leadership. As a former reserve police officer, I am committed to keeping our children's schools safe and free from bullying.

Successful Business and Management Experience I have 15 years of experience managing large budgets, as a business owner and as a vice principal. My experience with fiscal responsibility is a great asset, and I will administer budgets prudently to stretch our tax dollars.
