This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

Occupation: Self-employed Attorney
Age: 57
Education and Qualifications:

Endorsed by community leaders, retired and current judicial officers and over 30 fellow attorneys. Steve has in-court experience in Family Law, Probate, Adoption, Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation and Appeals in nearly 20 years in private practice. Where many attorneys focus on one area, this broad spectrum of experience makes Steve unusual. A judge has to handle whatever type of case comes along. Steve is ready to do that.

Born in San Jose, Steve has lived in Santa Clara County his whole life, attending Andrew Hill and Lincoln high schools. He worked 14 years at Lockheed Sunnyvale. He and his family have lived in the Berryessa area for 34 years. Six of his seven grown children live here. He is truly a "native son." Fluent in Spanish, Steve is intimately familiar with most of the cultures that are found in our area.

Steve's work has been in the service of regular people whose issues required expertise and understanding. A judge is faced daily with the problems of real people who need someone to deal fairly with their concerns and ensure that justice is done, with knowledge of the law and experience to apply it. Steve is the right person for that job.
