Diane and Jerry own an accounting business in Seal Beach since 1979. Diane was very active in church in Long Beach for many years as a Children's Church Director, participant in choir and orchestra, taught violin and piano, and together raised a family in Orange County.

Diane grew up in Huntington Beach, graduating from Huntington Beach High School in 1964. Diane's grandparents came to Huntington Beach in 1921 during the oil boom. Diane's mother Elizabeth was one of nine children raised by her Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Will in Huntington Beach.

Her father worked at the Richfield Wilmington Oil Refinery until his passing in 1982. Her mother was church organist, and her parents led choirs and congregational singing. Additionally, her mother ran a country grocery store at Delaware and Yorktown called Villa Heights Market in the 1950's and closed in the early 1960's. The grocery story provided part-time jobs for the 5 kids while developing a strong work ethic and learning business principles.
