This information is provided by the candidate

As a Councilmember, I had the opportunity to understand the unique assets of our community, as well as the struggles our hard‐working families and businesses face today. As a County Supervisor I will continue to represent and advocate for our families.

As the District Director for Assemblymember Luis A. Alejo, I have seen the opportunities and challenges our surrounding cities and counties face as well. My public service experience and knowledge of local and state resources will be my greatest strength as we begin addressing the many issues facing Salinas's residents.

My primary focus will be to support our local businesses and agriculture by removing obstacles and bureaucracies so that jobs can be retained and new ones are created. Workforce development and training will be one of my top priorities, especially for our youth. An educated and trained workforce ready for the jobs of tomorrow are a must.

I will work to ensure that Salinas's residents are provided quality and accessible County services. Our community deserves better, our youth deserves better and our community wants and needs a New Beginning.

It will be my honor to continue to have your support and to now represent you as your County Supervisor.

Thank you,

Sergio Sanchez
