Bob Levine: A Brief Biography

Bob began his business career with an education at Los Angeles Pierce College and later continued on to the California State University at Northridge where he received his degree in Economics.

Bob started working in the accounting and computer systems engineering field in 1986 at MSR Research in Woodland Hills where he was hired as controller. In 1990, he moved to JKL Components Corporation as the company's Chief Financial Officer basically managing the company's finances, human resources and computer systems.

Bob has served as the Chairman of the William S. Hart High School District Measure V Bond Oversight Committee. He has served as the Treasurer and as the Vice-President of the Prophet 21 World Wide Users Group. He is also a past-president of B'nai B'rith as well as a serving a term as Financial Secretary of Congregation Beth Shalom in Santa Clarita. Bob has also been long time member of Temple Ramat Zion in Northridge and a current member of Temple Beth Ami in Santa Clarita.

Bob's political goals are to do anything to keep California a Democratic state, to move the 38th District to become a Blue district, as well as providing full support for the agenda of the California and National Democratic Party.

Bob has a record for being very active in the Democratic Party.

Bob is currently a member of the Democratic State Central Committee, has been a member of the CADEM Finance Committee, and proud to be the Corresponding Secretary of the Democratic Alliance for Action who also chose him as their honoree for the Democratic Party of the San Fernando Valley 2011 Truman Award for Volunteer of the Year.

Bob has also been a member of the Tulare County Democratic Party Central Committee, Treasurer of the Porterville Democratic Club, and member of DN38 and the Democratic Club of SCV.

As a Progressive leader, Bob is committed to action on the following nine priorities:

Bob has a loving wife, Michelle, who is also an accountant and three successful grown children.
