Individuals can make a difference especially when we work together. Besides voting we need to be informed about the issues and involved with our elected officials. Government should protect and empower citizens. As Democrats we need to decrease economic disparity by protecting workers' rights, improving education, providing health care for all, exposing corporate greed and eliminating excessive tax breaks for the wealthy. Women's rights and the environment need to be protected.
