Sean White was raised in Canyon California (Contra Costa County near Moraga) on a homestead that his family lived on for 5 generations (6 after his daughter was raised there). He moved to Saranap (between Lafayette and Walnut Creek) during grammar school and ended up going to Northgate High School in Walnut Creek. He studies many subjects in his undergraduate years in college from Political Science, to Religious Studies and finally Biology. He went to CSULB & UCB during those years. After undergrad work, Sean went to Life Chiropractic College West in San Lorenzo and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Then for the next 12 years, he practice as a chiropractor in Orinda, CA and branched out to have a second office in Rockridge. After a while, he was looking for a deeper purpose and went on a journey which took him to most of the 50 states. He ended up settling in Haines Alaska for year and a half and had some time to reflect while being a kayak guide, chiropractor and a radio show host among other things. Sean decided that he wanted to work in the solar industry and studied very hard, like he did in chiropractic college and soon he was teaching solar classes at Merritt College, Diablo Valley College and many other private colleges and institutions all across the US and Canada. Sean also has been to China a number of times to give lectures on the topic of solar photovoltaics, which is converting light directly into electricity with no moving parts. Sean first ran for Contra Costa County Supervisor in 2000 and is running again in 2012. During those years, while others were predicting doomsday, Sean the optimist was predicting that people will wake up and understand that voting for someone who is not part of the political establishment would bring society forward. Sean has a 16 year old daughter and is very close with his family. He has experience in different fields, such as healthcare and renewable energy that are professions of helping and serving the greater good. If elected Sean will work very hard to be fair and to represent the greater good of the community.
