An Energetic Consumer Health Champion

I am seeking a position on the Alameda County Democratic Central Committee 15th AD. I live in Berkeley and sit on the boards of the East Bay Stonewall Democratic Club and the Berkeley Democratic Club. I served as an alternate to the Central Committee. My passion is instructing policymakers how to make intelligent choices about public health issues, and was instrumental in the federal Health Care Reform legislation and State implementation. I am a fervent proponent in healthy living environments at home, in communitiea and schcools.

I serve on the State Legislative Taskforce on Youth and Workplace Wellness and I am a board member and past president of the California School Health Centers Association.
