I have lived my entire life in the district. I grew up in Platea and graduated from Northwestern High school. I lived in Girard for several years before moving to Albion 12 years ago where I currently live with my wife and youngest daughter. My wife, Michele, also graduated from Northwestern and we both have strong ties to the 5thdistrict. Because of my experiences I have much in common with you, the residents of the district. I work hard, care about my family, take pride in my community, volunteer, and pay taxes. Looking at all of this, I believe I am representative of the district.

Living and working here I see that many people struggle to support their family, many making about $30- 35,000 a year. Over the last two years, I've looked at Harrisburg and I don't see a government that serves my friends, neighbors, and family.

Most of my working career I have served senior citizens, currently it is my privilege to serve disabled children. When I see the irresponsible budget cuts being proposed by the current governor and the Republican lead legislature, I fear for all those I spent half of my life caring for. I thought to myself: who will fight for them, who will be their voice? That's when I decided to run for State Representative. Ask yourself: is your current state government serving you?

I have been in healthcare for nearly 20 years serving people. I work hard to provide the best service possible. If I am elected to serve the people of the 5th district, I will do no less. I will live up to the title "Representative" and be the voice of the residents of this district.
