I am a Christian man and have been married for 16 years with two teenage daughters. My wife is a stay-at-home mom and I am a 13-1/2 year veteran of the Baltimore County Police Department currently holding the rank of Sergeant. My daughters attend Red Lion Area Junior and Senior High Schools. We attend Windsor Assembly of God where my wife assists with children's church and Girl's Ministry while I teach Royal Rangers. I was born and raised in a blue collar family where we were taught that there are no free lunches and if you wanted something, you had to work for it. As a result, I developed a strong work ethic that I carry with me to this day. If elected, I will continue that strong work ethic in Washington. I have been the Auxiliary Police Team Administrator the Baltimore County Police Department for 4 years. When I took this position there were 29 Auxiliary officers. Through strong leadership, teamwork and a shared vision, we have increased the membership to almost 70 officers and will have almost 80 as of the next academy class. Throughout my career I have had the respect of my superiors, peers and subordinates. I have been the Homeowner's Association President for Chatham Creek for just over 1 year now. When I was elected the community was not in good shape. In fact, we found that we were approximately $5000 in debt. Through strong leadership, teamwork and responsible fiscal management, our community is not only out of debt but currently has $32,000 in the bank. This was accomplished while making some long needed repairs within the community. As a Royal Ranger Commander I take pride in knowing that I am making the difference in a young boy's life and helping him to grow into a Godly young man. We started with 4 boys and now have 8 in Ranger Kids. My vision for Congress is one where members work together as Americans, not politicians, to solve our problems, where members put America and the American people before the political party and where members put the success of their constituents before the success of their re-election. My vision for America is one of liberty and prosperity where we build things again, where "Made in the USA" is found on more than half of the items in the store, where we once again become a melting pot and are simply referred to as Americans and where hard work pays off and is rewarded, not vilified. I am running for Congress because I love our country and feel that I must do what I can to ensure the future success and prosperity of this great nation. I ask for your assistance, your support and your vote in this most worthy endeavor. May God bless the United State of America and may the United States of America bless God.
