As the primary recording office of deeds, mortgages and liens the Recorder's Office is one of the most important offices in Hamilton County and governed by over one thousand sections of the Ohio Revised Code; so there is no Democrat or Republican way to run the office, only the right way.

Since I took office in 2009 I have reduced office personnel by forty-four percent by consolidating departments and cross training personnel, put in budgetary constraints to control inventory cost, and implemented shared service with other county departments.

I am committed to saving county taxpayers money by running an efficient and effective County Recorder's Office.

As Hamilton County Recorder I have a deep commitment to the preservation of older documents and films, protecting personal information from identity theft, improving access to the grantor/grantee index, online availability of subdivision and condo plats, upgrading public area equipment, and the continued improvement of customer service.

I look forward to another term as your County Recorder so that I may continue to improve web access to documents, streamlining title companies' document recording through electronic web filings, and continuing to protect individuals' privacy by redacting personal information from imaged documents.
