Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Kim Woodring

Candidate for
Director; Methacton School District

This information is provided by the candidate

With my new 'unemployed' status, I will have the requisite time to serve the public in the capacity of School Board Director. I believe the depth of my professional experiences (over 26 years) with people, money, and facilities management will enable me to bring value to the decision-making processes of the school board panel. I am excited at the notion of evaluating the needs of the district and our students, while keeping fiscal limitations in sharp focus. Just last night (11/1/11) I attended a Property Meeting of the School Board of Directors and fully support their move to explore options that will correct the dismal condition of athletic fields at the high school. Likewise, I look forward to other problem-solving situations that require careful research and analysis. I will do my best to work as a team player, communicate with all stake-holders, and search out good value when precious tax dollars must be spent. I am happy to serve in a non-partisan manner. I appreciate the endorsement of the Republican Party and the voter support from both parties during the Primary Election in May.
