This information is provided by the candidate

I am one of 10 children. My father was a Rockledge Police Officer and is retired from the Bell Telephone Company. My mother maintained the home and made sure that my siblings and I kept up with our chores at home and at school. I attended St. Luke the Evangelist grade school and Bishop McDevitt High School. I received a B.A. degree from Temple University and I received my law degree from the Universtiy of Baltimore School of Law.

I married my wife, Kathy, after graduation from law school and we were blessed with three beautiful daughters. I returned to Temple University Law School and obtained an LL.M. degree. In 1981, I established a law practice in Glenside, where I have practiced with Bruce Eckel, Esquire.

I have always been active in my community and church. I coached little league athletics for over 15 years and was a member of Rotary. I served as an Abington Township Commissioner. I was a founding member of the Citizens And Police Together (C.A.P.T.) organization and ran/walked in the 24 Hour Relay Challenge. I have served as a lector in my parish at Our Lady Help of Christians, where I have been a parishoner since 1977. I also served on the Board of the Abington YMCA.

I left the Abington Township Board of Commissioners in 1988 when I ran successfully for the position of District Justice. The name of the position has since been changed to Magisterial District Judge. During my term in office, I have overseen the disposition of over 100,000 cases and been responsible for the proper disbursement of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I have truly enjoyed my time as judge and I welcome and embrace the opportunity the position presents to help others.
