ANSWER: The solution to ensure fair and equitable property tax reform must come from the legislature and the Governor. I will continue to work with each to ensure the legislature passes a uniform reassessment so that every county will be treated equally. I oppose the court-ordered reassessment because it only applies to Allegheny County and while many neighboring counties have not reassessed in the past 20 or 30 years. This puts Allegheny County at a disadvantage. |
