Questions & Answers

1. What services do you believe should be considered basic and essential for the Village?

Listening to the citizens of North Bend and being an advocate for any fair and reasonable needs are basic if Council members are to be good stewards of those they serve. Being pro-active in securing a safer and more beautiful North Bend ought to translate into being vigilant watchdogs for the safety and well-being of our citizens and their respective properties. Increased property values in North Bend, Ohio should be a steadfast goal of Council members. I feel that potentially outdated infrastructures in the "village proper" need Council's continual attention. Being cognizant of this pending, sometimes urgent need, as well as the subsequent expense involved, has to be a constant as we look to improve North Bend.

2. How would you balance the Village Budget?

Council members have a fiduciary responsibility to be prudent in all expenditures. I have always believed that "Living within one's means" is paramount to having a balanced budget. Experienced Council members understand the availabiltiy of financial resources such as Block, and SCIP Grants etc.to enable the Village to meet large civic expenses with expediency. Such knowledge often alleviates the anxiety of a potentially "unbalanced budget" as Council members address important expenditures in improving North Bend.

3. What actions will you take to support clean air?

When there is a concern regarding air pollution I will advocate taking all measures to become fully informed on the situation and bring it to resolution as quickly as possible. The health and safety of the citizens I serve as a member of their Council are crucial in my endeavors to help improve North Bend.
