Questions & Answers

1. What are your qualifications for office? (50 word limit)

Former Assistant prosecutor Former Assistant Attorney General Former Municipal Court Judge Former Common Pleas Court Judge Former Appeals Court Judge

2. What programs do you support to maintain the independence of the judiciary? (100 word limit)

I support the election of judges in Ohio. The Supreme Court Rules for the Governance of the Judiciary of Ohio and Ohio Code of Judicial Conduct give judges specific guidance on how to maintain judicial independence.

3. What specific changes would you like to see in the administration of justice in Hamilton County? (100 word limit)

I would like to see our justice system take a more active role in conflict resolution and preventing violence in our community. It seems that more young people are carrying guns and using violence as a means to resolve conflict. We need to take a more active role in the prevention of violent conflict. We need to get illegal guns out of the hands of criminals.
