As a lifelong Cincinnatian, I have dedicated my personal and professional life to community service.

I was born in Finneytown, raised in Blue Ash and graduated from Sycamore High School. My first experience in community service occurred following the tornado disaster that ripped through neighboring Montgomery in April of 1999. I immediately volunteered with the relief effort and assisted by removing debris and searching for salvageable items. The outpouring of support and generosity from strangers left a marked impression on me of the goodness of our Cincinnati community.

While residing in Clifton, I attended the University of Cincinnati and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. As a student, I supported myself by working at several local businesses including the Cincinnati History Museum at Cincinnati Union Terminal as an Exhibits Programs Specialist.

Following the hurricanes in the Gulf Coast, I volunteered with the American Red Cross. I was trained in Mass Care, Shelter Operations and First Aid and sent to Dallas, Texas to aid the relief efforts following Hurricane Rita. I supervised the 40 member Dallas Damage Assessment Team which ascertained the level of damage on the ground and aided the victims requiring assistance. It was unquestionably the most challenging and emotionally draining experience of my life and equally the most rewarding.

After closure of the Dallas facility, I returned home and accepted a position for the American Red Cross, Cincinnati Area Chapter as the United Way Senior Development Associate. I later accepted a new position with the Red Cross as the Community Outreach / Disaster Services Coordinator.

In 2010, I embraced the American dream and went into business for myself. I own the Valley Dental Office in Roselawn where my team of 13 and I serve the dental needs of our neighboring communities.

Following his birth this December, my wife Meghan and I will welcome our first child to our Westwood home.
