  • Age 54
  • Redwood City Resident - 28 years
  • Co-Owner, Valon Technology, LLC - an engineering company specializing in wireless/rf applications.
  • Married with two children - Both my daughters graduated from Sequoia High School with an International Baccalaureate Diploma. My oldest graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Structural Engineering. My youngest is a senior at UC Berkeley (Geology major).

Accomplishments/Committees
  • Board Member, Sequoia Union High School District (1999- present)- Served as Board President 2001, 2002, 2008 and 2011.
  • San Mateo County School Boards' Association, Executive Board 2003/04
  • Redwood City 2020 - Coordinating Council Member. Chairperson in 2011 and 2002. As their Chairperson in 2002, I lead the group's focus toward providing health and counseling services for our high school students.

  • Sequoia High School Education Foundation - Past Member, Board of Directors
