Why I Am Running For City Council

After 26 years of working for the City of South San Francisco I retired and moved from San Bruno to South San Francisco so I could continue to work for the people here.

This is my statement that is printed in the ballot information that you will get in your mail.

During my 26 year career with the City of South San Francisco, I came to know the history and the traditions of this great City. I know your neighborhoods and I understand your needs. I know how this City works and I know how it doesn't work.

For over 26 years I have donated my time and talents, in many capacities, to help make this a better City. It is a privilege to have made friendships with so many of you and I continue to care about you and this place we call home. I hear we need a councilmember from the field that represents the majority of us working people. I believe Council has the responsibility to take care of the people and their needs and that continues to be my priority.

As a member of our Council, I will continue to help make South City a safe and enjoyable place to live and to work. With our history as our roots, let's move our City forward together. Respectfully,
