We've lived in Foster City for over 33 years. We've grown to love the city with its beautiful parks and lagoons. We also love the lifestyle where there is a sense of frienship and family. There is a vibrant sports community with Little League and soccer. There is a an active teen center at the Vibe and a Senior Center at the Rec Center. This is the life style that we all enjoy and which I will try and protect as a city council member. I recently retired and can now devote time to give back to the city I love.

As a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, I learned that people will donate to the Society if they feel a connection to their gift. I also learned that you must create a relationship with the donor in order to earn their trust. And the last lesson that I learned was that you must be transparent and communicate with the donor.

I feel that these lessons will serve me well as a council member. People need to have a connection to the city, I must earn their trust and, finally, I will be open and transparent with all of my decisions.
