I believe a strong candiate should possess the ability to be a team player and an advocate for those who vote them into office. You must be willing to learn from others and accept differing opinions. You must not only be a good listener, but also truly hear what your constituents wants and needs are. Integrity should be a given. You must be willing to work with the other 4 council members to make sound and well-thought out decisions for the benefit of your citizens.
