Lorrie Kalos-Gunn for Millbrae City Council

By Lorrie Anne Kalos-Gunn

Candidate for Council Member; City of Millbrae

This information is provided by the candidate
A fiscally sound future for Millbrae that ensures that public safety in maintained.
It is time, once again, for you to choose the future of Millbrae. I, Lorrie Kalos-Gunn, respectfully request your support in my bid for Millbrae City Council.

Over the last few years, Millbrae has been affected by difficult economic times. As an example, the current City Council must address the future of our Police Department. We as a community have to take the time and look at the harsh realities of a challenging future for our City. The days of saying "we have a balance budget" is not enough. A new look, with fresh ideas, must be had to plan for the future and to sustain our precious community.

As your Councilmember, I pledge to work toward establishing a priority list reflective of Millbrae citizens' needs and a strategic plan to address those priorities. My focus as a City Councilmember will be to put planning first; to ensure that Millbrae's future is fiscally sound and occurs simultaneously with a safe, healthful, and clean environment; and to place special emphasis on the needs of our children and seniors.

Your support is vital to our success. Your vote is first and foremost the most important step in this process. Any contributions toward these efforts to elect me, as the next Millbrae City Councilmember, will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your consideration. If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 650.634.0543, or email me at lorriekalosgunn@me.com.
