Statement of STEVE HOFFMAN, Candidate for
Member, Sunnyvale City Council, Seat 6
Occupation: Chief Executive Officer
Age: 47
Education and Qualifications:

Sunnyvale is a phenomenal place. That's why we all love it. My wife and I have lived here for 22 years. We have two children. City employees are friendly and helpful. So much that we recently moved our medical device manufacturing company to Sunnyvale.

Unfortunately, things are changing. For example: inconsistent code enforcement. Just visit the Revere neighborhood where a woman was recently murdered, and ask the neighbors what they truly believe. Furthermore, it's outrageous that City leaders are so out of touch with Sunnyvale West residents that litigation ensued. Guess who paid for this and guess who lost - The City! The list goes on.

I pledge not to accept any contributions, so you are assured that I'll represent only Sunnyvale residents. As CEO of a small corporation, I understand the challenges every business owner experiences. City support for business and employees will ensue. As a former tenant and current residential owner, with long-term tenants, I understand the balance needed for mutually beneficial tenant/Iandlord relationships. As the owner of a fully occupied multi-tenant commercial property, I know how to attract businesses and reduce vacancies.

Sunnyvale belongs to us. We need to take it back. Vote Steve Hoffman.
