Statement of BO CHANG, Candidate for
Member, Sunnyvale City Council, Seat 5
Occupation: Small Business Owner
Age: 41
Education and Qualifications:

We are in a time of great challenge and the only thing constant has been change. Our City has tackled many challenges throughout our history. Our City and residents have shown leadership in the most difficult of times. I plan on building on our solid foundation to be the representative that is needed for the future.

My goal is to make Sunnyvale a better place to live, play and work. To accomplish this, I will be focusing on the following issues. Downtown Development: I will focus on continuing the current progress in taking the appropriate steps to bring our downtown project to completion and create the jobs and revenue stream necessary for a thriving community. Smart Development: We need to work smarter in accomplishing our residential needs while protecting the environment. We have to accomplish this with Green energy techniques and zoning changes like the ITR (Industrial to Residential). Public Safety: We have one of the lowest crime rates in the Country. I am in support of retraining and retention of experienced officers.

I am looking forward to being your representative and partner on the City Council. I ask for your support and your vote on November 8.

Thank you.
