Position Papers
Commercial Revitalization Across San Bernardino
Sales taxes are the #1 source of SB's revenue. SB's main commercial areas have thrift shops and vacanies. A partnership must be created between business, centers for business innovation at Cal State, SB and SB's Redevelopment Agency to create a winning revitalization strategy.
Support an Effective Administration Within SB's Police Department
During the last 12 years, SB has seen four police chiefs come and go. The most effective police department have a tight command and administrative structure. The constanct turn-over at the top inhibits the creation of an effective crime-fighting strategy.
Jobs, Jobs, Jobs.
SB has several programs underway that, if they are adequately recognized and integrated, can potentially create 1000s of jobs in the near future.
