Candidate for
Board Member; Marin Community College District

As your representative, I helped the College achieve financial stability, increase enrollment, reaffirm accreditation and enhance its infrastructure. No teachers were fired during this economic downturn. Right now, I am providing oversight and leadership for a $249.5 million facilities modernization project. This project includes green-certified construction, and solar and geothermal-powered buildings. I have enthusiastically championed the updating of college programs and on-line education.

As a past Board President and current Board member, my goal is to continue to successfully oversee these improvements to the College's programs and facilities, which enable effective learning experiences for students and serve our community's greater needs. I have attached an update of important accomplishments during my tenure as a trustee so far.
