Board Member; Hartnell Community College District; Trustee Area 4

Hartnell is facing many critical issues, but we have also seen many incredible accomplishments. In my next term at Hartnell, my goals include:

Continuing to increase access to Hartnell College (despite state budget cuts) to ensure students can compete for good jobs.

Further expansion of vocational programs focusing on the needs of the local employing industries.

Strengthening the connection with California State University and the University of California systems to make certain that students who want to transfer can do so, particularly with our two local Universities (CSUMB and UCSC).

Remaining fiscally prudent in financing and finding creative solutions to continuing to fund innovative education. I hope that I can count on your support to continue this important work.
