Why you should Vote Fulwood.Hello my name is Dwan Fulwood. I am running for Mayor of Hawthorne because I want to build schools and open libraries for the children of our community. Our children on the east side of Hawthorne have been forced to attend Los Angeles schools. Education is the key to our children's future. We must invest our time and money in providing the tools necessary to be successful. Technology in the green field for example solar panels, wind generators and whole house weatherization can reduce the costs of heating and cooling. Federal funded programs such as HEAP offer no cost services for a variety of cost cutting services. I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and she said she was looking out the window and saw a small toddler headed toward a busy street. Fearing the worse she ran to the door and screamed NO. The child stop. She then ran outside half dress to the child. It takes a village to raise a child. We must do what is right without hesitation. We must look out for each other.
