Dear Voter:

My name is Kenneth Brown. I was appointed by the El Camino College Board of Trustees in December 2010 to fill the vacated seat of Dr. Nathaniel Jackson. I am asking you to support me with your vote on November 8th so that we can continue the work of fostering an incredible learning environment for our community. I have twenty-two years of experience as a system engineer in the aerospace industry and as a member of the Cal State Dominguez Hills Faculty.

My top priorities are to:

Maintain El Camino's excellence in Academic Preparation and Vocational Training
Increase student success and completion rates
Communicate clearly and regularly to inspire students to achieve their educational goals
Help faculty and staff to foster a positive campus learning environment for all students
Protect taxpayer dollars by providing transparency, oversight and accountability

I have been endorsed by Faculty, Staff and Board members of El Camino as well as other educators and community leaders.

I need your vote in November!

Sincerely,

Kenneth A. Brown
