Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Judy Anderson

Candidate for
Board Member; Eureka City School District; Ward 4

This information is provided by the candidate

Student Achievement: As a school board member, my first priority is and always has been student achievement. This means an overall K-12 focus that prepares students for careers and college. It also means preserving a wide variety of education opportunities and programs such as music, athletics, art and agriculture.

Financial Responsibility: The school district budget is balanced for the next two years. With the help of staff, students, parents and the community; I will continue to seek out common sense budget solutions and keep the budget balanced.

Facility Management: I will work carefully to evaluate current facility and property needs as well as allowing for future flexibility. I believe that maintenance of buildings and facilities should be a priority and I will continue to fight for funding to keep Eureka City Schools buildings safe and operational for the students, teachers and staff.
