I have lived in this town all of my life. I am committed to doing what's right for our borough.

I have been your councilperson for three years but for three years, I have been kept out of many decisions. I try to do what's right by reviewing items before I cast my vote. However many times, I am not included in private meetings or I am not given information until a few minutes before I am expected to vote. I strongly believe that I should be able to review documents before I vote on them, so I can make the best decision but it doesn't happen. This has to change because important decisions have been made here without discussion or review.

Here is a just a few of my concerns and the solutions I have developed:

Issue: Lack of communication to our residents

Solution: 1. Quarterly newsletters should be sent out.

2. Encourage residents to attend Council meetings and frequently announce the schedule of meetings - held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. If you wish to speak at the meeting you have to sign the sheet prior to the start of the meeting. Issue: Employment for residents

Solution: 1. Developers promise jobs to Darby residents but most are not selected. Make it mandatory that Darby residents are selected first as promised.

2. For Darby Borough employment + advertise and communicate to the residents the available positions. Stop the hiring of acquaintances to fill vacancies + allow all to apply and select the most qualified.

3. Fill the 4 vacancies in the Highway Department so they can properly maintain our streets and town. We currently have only 4 Highway department employees when just a few years ago, we had 8. It's not possible for only 4 employees to maintain all of our boro property, sewers and streets.
