Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Larry Pantuso

Candidate for
Director; Baldwin-Whitehall School District; 4 Year Term; Democratic, Republican Party

This information is provided by the candidate

I want to serve as a school director because I feel that providing a quality education to our children is one of the greatest contributions that one generation can provide to the next. The decisions that are made at the school director level not only impact the children, residents and educators of today, but they also impact countless future generations.

We have to provide a well rounded education for our children that includes strong academics, supports music and fine arts and challenges all children no matter what their ability is to never stop learning and aspiring to do better. At the same time we need to balance our financial resources despite decreasing state and federal funding.

We need to attract young families to our communities with strong academics while at the same time keep our tax rates low for our established residents. As a district we must maintain our support services, bus drivers and maintenance services in-house and we must create a culture of accountability to see to it that our district is operating in an efficient manner in all aspects. I want to contribute my knowledge and experience to make a positive difference as school director.
