WESTCHESTER SCHOOL DISTRICT CANDIDATES NIGHTS (sponsored by the League of Women Voters) for several of the 40 Westchester County School Districts having their Elections on Tuesday, MAY 17, 2011

(Please note that Candidates Nights for the following School Districts have already been held: Bedford, Blind Brook, Dobbs Ferry, New Rochelle, Ossining, Pelham, Port Chester, Somers and White Plains)

WEDNESDAY, MAY 11: BRIARCLIFF MANOR School District

WEDNESDAY, MAY 11, 7:30pm: TUCKAHOE School District; Tuckahoe High School Auditorium, 65 Siwanoy Boulevard, Eastchester; 3 candidates running for 2 School District Trustee positions.

THURSDAY, MAY 12, 7:30 pm: CHAPPAQUA School District; Chappaqua Library Theater, 195 South Greeley Avenue, Chappaqua; 2 seats for School Board, 1 seat for Library Board.

THURSDAY, MAY 12, 7:00-9:00pm: IRVINGTON School District; Presentation Room at Irvington MS/HS Campus, 40 North Broadway (route 9), Irvington; 2 candidates running for 1 position on the School Board.

MAIL REGISTRATION Application must be postmarked not later than August 20 and received by the Westchester County Board of Elections not later than August 25 to be eligible to vote in the Primary Election on September 14.

IN PERSON REGISTRATION You may register at the Westchester Board of Elections or any state agency participating in the National Voter Registration Act, on any business day throughout the year but, to be eligible to vote in the Fall primary on September 14, your application must be received no later than August 20.
