Commissioner, City of Manhattan Beach Planning Commission (June 2008 每 2011) Appointed by City Council to serve a three-year term. Pursuant to the State Planning and Zoning Law, the Planning Commission is responsible for long-range planning activities for the City of Manhattan Beach, including major use permits, commercial planned development permits, zone changes, code amendments, and modification to long-range planning documents, including the City*s General Plan and Local Coastal Plan.

Commissioner, City of Manhattan Beach Parking & Public Improvements Commission (June 2006 每 June 2008) Appointed by City Council to serve a three-year term as one of five commissioners responsible for public parking issues, capital improvement projects, traffic management, activities within the public right-of-way including encroachment permits and environmental enhancement. Served as Chairperson June 2007- May 2008.

Commissioner, City of Manhattan Beach Parks & Recreation Commission (June 2005 每 June 2006) Appointed by City Council to serve a three-year term as one of seven commissioners responsible for the recreational needs of all citizens and to promote supervised public recreation within the City.

Committee Member, Measure BB Bond Oversight Committee (November 2008 to November 2010) Appointed by the Manhattan Beach Unified School District*s Board of Trustees to serve a two-year term as one of thirteen committee members responsible for ensuring that bond-funded projects on approved Project List are completed, external audits are conducted and that all bond measure funding is spent properly.

Leadership Manhattan Beach

Vice-President & Member, Board of Directors 每 elected to a one-year term (2008-2009) to serve as the Vice President of the Board of Directors and provide guidance and assistance to the Board President and other Board Members as required. Promote the ten-month civic leadership program designed to identify community leaders, increase civic knowledge and develop leadership ability.

Membership Director 每 elected to a one-year term (2007-2008) to develop and coordinate alumni activities, including but not limited to, social activities, tours and networking opportunities.

Graduate of the LMB Class of 2005. Participated in development and production of the class project, the DVD entitled ※Bridging The Generations§. The DVD documented the contemporaneous recollections of long-time residents about the history of the City of Manhattan Beach, how it is has changed, and their hopes for our future.

Represent, counsel, and provide guidance to Northrop's F/A-18 and JWST Programs in all aspects of government contracts and commercial supplier subcontracts. Evaluate terminations for default and convenience and requests for equitable adjustment. Draft and review licensing arrangements, non-disclosure agreements and purchase orders between Northrop Grumman and other commercial entities.

Senior Staff Counsel, Unmanned Systems, Rancho Bernardo, CA (June 2005 to April 2007) Specialized in government contracts and export/import law. Provided legal support to Northrop*s Unmanned Air Vehicle Programs in all aspects of Federal contracts and subcontracts.

ITAR Focal Point - F-35 Program, El Segundo, CA (December 2003 to June 2005) Directed export/import compliance efforts for multi-national defense program.
