As a longtime resident I am excited to be a candidate for the Beverly Hills City Council, however I do not take this new opportunity lightly. While the challenges are many and the solutions may be difficult, I am prepared to invest my time and bring my expertise to this complex task.

IMPORTANT ISSUE FACING BEVERLY HILLS:

Economic Sustainability and Fiscal Accountability

  • Maximize city revenues and prioritize expenditures
  • Avoid the "annual budget crisis"
  • Propose a longer term view to economic sustainability

Residential Quality of Life
  • Maintain and enhance our city services
  • Ensure that the Metro does not tunnel under our schools or residential streets
  • Development which adheres to the new General Plan
  • Create a strategic plan for Traffic and Parking
