Economic Revitalization

By Sid Michaels Kavulich

Candidate for State Representative; District 114

This information is provided by the candidate
Enhancing economic opportunities in the 114th District
I will work to enable small businesses to develop and grow through funding and incentives that would promote long-term employment and stability. The economic environment of the 114th District could be enhanced through the re-opening of dormant production facilities, increasing tax revenue and creating jobs. We need to encourage home-grown business by education business owners on available funding which would help achieve growth. The Commonwealth must continue to draw out-of-state business, but we have to make sure these industries commit to remain for extended periods of time while ensuring that Pennsylvanians are hired for employment positions. The people of the 114th District need to have available to them family-sustaining jobs, which allow individuals to raise a family and live a lifestyle of which they can be proud. I will meet with economic leaders on a regular basis to discuss issues that would allow the business community of the district to move forward and grow, thereby creating employment and additional economic opportunities.
